During this event Jonathan Austin will speak for The Supper Club. Jonathan founded Best Companies in 2000 after attending a servant leadership conference in the US.
Jonathan recognised the importance of great leadership and how focusing and caring for people brings very real business benefits. It was at this point that Jonathan identified the requirement to measure engagement levels within his own businesses but quickly realised that no formal standard existed within the UK.
In 2001 Jonathan inspired and facilitated the inaugural list of the Best Companies to Work For in the UK, securing sponsorship from the Department of Trade and Industry and publication within The Sunday Times newspaper.
Since then Jonathan has spent time investigating the key drivers behind workplace engagement within businesses of all sizes and sectors. It is this experience and passion that has enabled him to become a though leader in this field and develop his own engagement model.
Today, Jonathan serves as Chief Executive Officer of Best Companies, where he spends his time consulting to leadership teams, sharing his experiences from top performing businesses and helping them to apply his principles within their own organisations. He is relentless in his dedication to the primary purpose of Best Companies “to help make the world a better workplace”. He also focuses on putting his theories into practice within the management of his own organisations.
Places are limited to 30 attendees to encourage networking and mingling.
This evening is aimed at those members, their senior staff and eligible guests who are interested in listening to a well seasoned entrepreneur speak in an informal relaxed environment. The evening is also a great opportunity to mingle with Supper Club members over drinks. Senior staff and guests of members are welcome to attend for free when members attend.

We ask that you do not cancel except in an emergency as places are limited and the events are small. We try hard to ensure a quorum of attendees but late cancellation is unfair on everyone else. We do not provide refunds because in practice it generally costs us considerably more than the fee charged to get a late replacement.
