Our members are all CEOs and founders of successful innovative businesses beyond start-up. We continue to grow the Club with qualifying entrepreneurs, often who are introduced to us by other members.
Our members are entrepreneurs in the true sense:
- They are driving rapid growth in an innovative business
- They have lots of experience of success and failure, which they are willing to share
- They are open and keen to learn more from their peers
All new members must qualify for the Club, they must be…
- Either the founder or CEO of at least 1 business
- Turning over at least £1m or have done so in a previous business in the last 3 years
- A trail blazer or award winner in their sector
- Willing to attend at least 1 dinner a quarter if not more
- Keen to meet other fascinating entrepreneurs to learn and give something back
We meet everyone face to face before they join to explain about the Club and understand the journey they are on and challenges they face. We then establish if there’s value for both parties in joining.
We limit the number of similar businesses in the Club which creates diversity and interest. From time to time we have a waiting list in certain sectors.
We exclude certain professions including consultants, professional services, journalists and anyone joining to ‘sell’. As such, our members can share challenges and opportunities confidentially with peers, knowing they will get honest feedback. It is not uncommon for our members to uncover new business leads and opportunities from their peers within our network.
RULES
- Membership fees are taken monthly by Direct Debit
- Event payment is taken by credit card when booking
- We do not offer refunds in the event of cancellations
- No guests, partners or staff are allowed at events
- Overt selling is frowned upon in the Club
- The Chatham House rule applies at all events
- We ask for new member referrals throughout the year
- The Club is about give and gain; we sometimes ask members to assist others where they can
