Supper Club sponsors St James’s place received the Investors Chronicle/Sunday Times inaugural award for Best Wealth Manager 2008, as voted by their readers. They were also the winner of the 2008 Best Income Fund Manager Award based on investment performance.

Best Wealth Manager 2008
Given in recognition of offering excellent investment advice and wealth management services, plus a wide range of other services. Investors Chronicle and Financial Times readers were asked to assess their wealth managers on a range of criteria including:

Frequency and quality of communication
Availability of specialist services
Financial performance
Range of investment options on offer

These views were then collated by an independent research house and discussed by the panel of judges to select the winner of the award. Wealth management organisations from across the country competed for the award.

This award was based purely on investment performance and was awarded for the best performing fund with a yield in excess of the FTSE All Share plus one per cent
